Why not come and try a woodturning   course with professional woodturner Tracy Owen in  his studio in Cheshire. Tracy is on the Reigster of  Professional Woodturners and as well as running courses he demonstrates at woodturning clubs and  shows throughout the UK and overseas.  He has also written articles for 'Woodturning' magazine over  the last six years. Tracy turns functional and decorative vessels often incorporating texture and surface enhancement. This  is achieved by carving, sandblasting, piercing and sometimes colouring. There is always something new  on the go. Tracy gets a great amount of pleasure from  passing on this knowledge to people of all ages and  seeing them master the art of woodturning.
	THE STUDIO. This is the workshop in which the courses are held.  This fully equipped 500 square foot purpose built workshop houses a VB36, two Powermatic lathes and a small Nova lathe which gives the student plenty of choice.
